Willing Workers On Organic Farms is an organisation that enables people from any country or background to gain experience of living and working on a farm.
WWOOFing is possible in many countries, and in exchange for a few hours ‘yakka’ a day, WWOOFers gain food, lodging and a great chance to learn about rural Australian life. The ideal way to escape the backpacker trail!
At ‘Arcadia’ we are proud to be WWOOFer hosts, and have had people from as far afield as Poland, Japan, Korea, Israel, Canada, Italy and Sweden. They help us out with many jobs including tree planting, sheep work and fencing. However, if you wish to go WWOOFing you MUST join the WWOOF organisation first. This is very important.
