Birrego church in al its glory

Natural. Happy. Delicious.

Want to see more of our farm?

Why not stay in our 110 year old church!

*Birrego church is fully accessible to disabled visitors*

Garth and Jan welcome you to sample a piece of local history, with the newly renovated Birrego church opening to accomodate guests in mid-2007.

Whether you're touring Australia, visiting from overseas or just want to get back to the country, you can be assured of a warm welcome at Arcadia. The cypress pine church has been thoughtfully restored to its original glory since being purchased in 2004, and holds a special significance for the Strong family as Garth's grandparents were the first couple to get married in it all those years ago. Fearing the church's sale would see it relocated out of the area after services ceased, the Strong family put in a successful bid and the church was moved 4km up the road to its present location at Arcadia.

The church now comes equipped with a modern bathroom and kitchenette, which are fully accessible to disabled visitors. The main room can accomodate 2-4 guests and has reverse cycle air conditioning. Why not take a relaxing evening walk around the farm, or go on a guided farm tour (available on request), and arrive back at the farmhouse in time to enjoy a home cooked two-course dinner or a glass of wine under the stars.

If you would like to experience a working Australian farm and some true country hospitality,  or call Garth and Jan on +61 (0)2 6959 8644.
